The Platform Engineer will develop internal platform capabilities to enhance engineering team efficiency while ensuring security, reliability, and operational control, focusing on automation and user experience.

Responsible for the infrastructure behind ACRA, focusing on Kubernetes, networking, storage, and production operations. Will design, build, and improve core infrastructure layers while ensuring operational reliability and security.

Own the platform security and trust roadmap for ACRA, translating security findings, compliance requirements, and technical needs into product requirements. Prioritize vulnerability remediation, manage external penetration tests and technical dependencies, coordinate vendors and contractors, and balance feature delivery with security, cost, and risk. Track remediation, compliance, SLA, and delivery metrics while partnering closely with engineering leadership to improve platform security, auditability, and enterprise readiness.

Support and evolve the company’s cloud-first internal IT environment, including device management, identity systems, SaaS tooling, endpoint security, access control, onboarding, and asset management. Develop scalable IT policies, processes, and support operations while contributing to SOC 2, Cyber Essentials, and ISO 27001 compliance initiatives. Help evaluate IT tools, support business continuity, manage vendors, and partner with security, engineering, and operations teams in a high-growth organization.

Own finance operations, monthly close, management accounts, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, payroll coordination, equity administration, and investor reporting. Manage external advisers and finance systems while improving controls, automation, data quality, and reporting processes in a growing startup. Coordinate accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, payments, tax and statutory deadlines, cap-table records, and cross-border finance activities.

Own Acra’s secure release lifecycle across cloud, on-premise, hybrid, and air-gapped environments. Build CI/CD pipelines, reproducible offline artifacts, infrastructure-as-code and GitOps delivery frameworks. Implement cryptographic signing, SBOM generation, vulnerability gating, immutable audit trails, and compliance evidence. Partner with platform, security, and application engineering teams to improve release reliability, testing, versioning, rollback, and deployment automation.

Build and operate backend and platform services for ACRA, a secure Kubernetes platform. Develop Go services, design scalable distributed systems, implement CI/CD/GitOps workflows, manage containers and secrets, improve observability and incident response, and own platform features for isolation, policy enforcement, and auditability.

As a Software Engineer, you will design, build, and operate backend services in Go, develop microservices and APIs, and manage deployment workflows using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices.
