Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing engineering designs, drawings, and technical reports; ensuring compliance with highway standards; supporting projects from concept through construction; collaborating with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders; and managing multiple deadlines.

Collect personal and commercial debts across revenues, benefits, business rates, trade waste, and sundry accounts. Manage assigned portfolios using telephone, written, email, face-to-face, and court-based contact. The role requires handling difficult conversations, applying debt collection processes and fair debt policies, negotiating payment solutions, and communicating effectively with members of the public.

Leads complex SEND mediation, disagreement resolution, and Tribunal appeal cases for the Local Authority. Responsibilities include preparing legal submissions, representing the council at hearings, advising partners, managing statutory complaints and information requests, analysing performance trends, supporting quality assurance, and driving service improvements. The role requires detailed knowledge of SEND legislation, Tribunal procedures, case law, statutory deadlines, negotiation, risk assessment, and multi-agency collaboration.
