Provides legal and contractual advice across commercial contracting, regulated payment services, privacy, product, intellectual property, regulatory, corporate, and M&A matters. Supports licensing, compliance, policy development, regulatory monitoring, legal risk management, and cross-functional business activities. The role is London-based, requires office attendance four days weekly, and involves collaboration across time zones.

Leads second-line oversight of global financial risk, safeguarding, internal financial controls, treasury, liquidity, FX, credit, capital adequacy, and regulatory compliance. The role challenges Finance and Treasury teams, tests safeguarding and reconciliation controls, monitors global regulations, reports risks to senior governance bodies, and drives incident remediation across regulated payment entities.

Develop and maintain highly available, secure, scalable API services for a global payments platform. Design and ship new products, improve platform performance, automate development processes, participate in Agile practices, and collaborate with global technology teams. The role requires strong Golang development skills, event-driven architecture experience, relational database knowledge, and familiarity with web and API solutions.

Lead execution of Thunes' global content and thought leadership strategy: create data-driven content across formats, implement AI tools to scale production and personalization, align content with sales and product for target accounts, manage content calendar and external partners, measure performance, and support social media and thought leadership initiatives to drive brand awareness and demand.

Own the full lifecycle of strategic channel partnerships across Europe, including origination, deal structuring, negotiation, activation, account growth, and revenue delivery. Serve as the primary partner contact while aligning Product, Technology, Sales, Network, Treasury, and Legal teams. Develop partner value propositions, prioritize high-impact opportunities, and scale indirect distribution through complex fintech, payments, or enterprise SaaS partnerships.

Lead risk-based internal audits across Thunes’ global fintech operations, assessing financial, operational, technology, compliance, governance, and internal controls. Develop audit plans, identify risks and control weaknesses, produce reports, track remediation, and advise senior stakeholders. The role requires independent judgment, strong communication, and experience managing complex audits across international, regulated organizations while helping mature the Internal Audit function.

Develop, maintain and scale high-availability Golang services and APIs for a global payments platform. Design and implement new features, work with event-driven architectures and relational databases, ensure quality via testing and CI/CD, and collaborate across teams to deploy secure, performant systems.

Own and scale the global MarTech stack, embed AI across workflows, automate lead research and enrichment, optimise inbound/outbound engines, manage lifecycle and attribution using Salesforce/Pardot, Dreamdata and other analytics to connect marketing activity to revenue, and support SDRs, events and cross-functional stakeholders with data-driven tools and reporting.
