Provides end-to-end client service for a UK bank, handling queries, cases, escalations, SLA management, investigations, and resolutions. Develops service playbooks, monitors performance and complaint trends, and implements improvements. Maintains operational controls and processes, collaborates with KYC, Compliance, Technology, and Product teams, and supports regulatory requirements and client experience improvements.

Supports financial reporting, management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, FP&A, regulatory returns, tax compliance, treasury, and finance controls. The role prepares IFRS technical accounting documentation, assists with accounts payable and receivable, reconciles cash balances, reports performance metrics, and liaises with auditors and external advisers. It offers a broad development path for a part-qualified accountant, including opportunities to improve finance processes through AI and automation.

Own payment product requirements within an agile engineering squad. Translate regulatory, scheme, and client needs into epics, user stories, and testable acceptance criteria. Manage backlog quality, facilitate agile ceremonies, coordinate dependencies, triage defects, support UAT and CHAPS certification testing, and act as the primary contact for Compliance, Payment Operations, Client Services, and related squads. Ensure payment functionality meets scheme rules, internal controls, and delivery commitments.

Lead the design and delivery of a first-line financial crime quality assurance framework across onboarding, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and ongoing due diligence. Review case decisions, identify control weaknesses and knowledge gaps, produce QA management information, support audit and regulatory readiness, and drive remediation and continuous improvement. Partner with operations, compliance, training, policy, and product stakeholders to strengthen financial crime controls and ensure risk-based, consistent execution.

Lead the design, initiation, and delivery of the Bank’s CHAPS direct-participant implementation programme. Responsibilities include cross-functional gap analysis, defining delivery requirements, coordinating technical, operational, oversight, and senior management stakeholders, managing implementation risks, and liaising with the Bank of England’s CHAPS onboarding team.

Drives cross-functional business and product change initiatives across the bank, including product launches and transformation projects. Translates regulatory, technology, and strategic requirements into product and process changes; conducts impact assessments, gap analyses, and readiness reviews. Develops business requirements, user stories, and readiness criteria, coordinates delivery teams, resolves blockers, and manages stakeholder communication regarding scope, timelines, benefits, risks, and change impacts.

Support the General Counsel across commercial contracts, corporate governance, investor relations, regulatory compliance, risk, and legal operations. Responsibilities include drafting and managing agreements, preparing board and regulatory materials, coordinating governance activities, maintaining legal records and contract databases, supporting due diligence and SMCR applications, conducting research, and liaising with internal teams, external counsel, executives, and directors.
