Lead and grow Steer’s UK transport Development Planning practice through business development, technical leadership, and client management. Win and direct large projects, ensure financial performance, secure framework positions, represent clients (including as expert witness), and mentor senior staff while managing stakeholder engagement and project delivery across public and private sectors.

Lead transport planning workstreams for major developments, delivering highway and sustainable transport advice, managing projects, clients, budgets and sub-consultants. Prepare reports, lead stakeholder engagement, win work, mentor junior staff and contribute to business development while supporting professional development and chartership.

Lead and win financial advisory and transaction mandates for infrastructure and energy transition projects. Manage client engagements, draft teasers and information memoranda, run funding competitions, coordinate advisors, close debt and equity transactions, mentor junior staff, ensure project quality, support business development, and produce financial models and value-add analysis.

Manage complex client engagements in commercial advisory for energy and infrastructure, provide commercial and technical advice on renewables and decentralised energy, lead financial modelling and deliverables, build client relationships and proposals, manage project resources and quality, communicate risks, mentor junior staff, and support business development and practice-area growth.
