Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of data governance and data quality frameworks across London Market syndicates. Establish policies, standards, ownership models, data inventories, quality controls, metrics, reporting, and issue remediation processes. Partner with business and technology stakeholders to support regulatory compliance, operational effectiveness, and strategic decision-making. Chair governance committees, guide Data Stewards, manage governance initiatives, and provide updates to senior management and the Board.

Provides administrative and company secretarial support to the Governance function. Responsibilities include coordinating Board and Committee meetings, maintaining statutory registers and legal entity records, assisting with Companies House filings, supporting regulatory and Lloyd’s governance requirements, managing director and stakeholder records, and assisting with corporate actions, acquisitions, and governance improvement projects.

Develops and manages talent initiatives across the international business, including succession planning, talent reviews, psychometric assessment, leadership development, career progression, mentoring, coaching, performance management, culture, diversity, and internal mobility. Uses talent data and analytics to identify development needs, inform decisions, and support senior stakeholders. Partners with Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, HR Business Partners, and external providers to deliver aligned talent programmes.
