Design and build scalable backend systems for Spotify’s commerce platform, supporting purchases, billing, invoicing, receipts, and payments. Develop high-scale distributed services and data pipelines, improve performance, reliability, and observability, and contribute to architecture decisions. Collaborate with engineering, product, and data teams, participate in code reviews and technical discussions, and modernize legacy systems while maintaining stability.

Leads multiple engineering teams and sets technical strategy for Spotify’s content catalog platform. Oversees scalable distributed systems, legacy modernization, reliability, content quality, automation, and AI initiatives. Partners with product and business leaders to execute long-term roadmaps, improve content availability, and reduce operational friction. Builds inclusive engineering culture, develops engineering managers, and drives alignment across distributed teams and locations.

Lead end-to-end product design for Spotify’s subscriptions experience, from exploration and prototyping through launch and iteration. Partner with product, engineering, research, data, and design teams to solve complex user and business problems, use qualitative and quantitative insights, shape product direction, and deliver intuitive digital experiences. Communicate design rationale, build alignment, contribute to design quality, and support Spotify’s broader design community.
