Develop and deploy advanced machine learning models for speech recognition, including large self-supervised and transformer-based systems. Lead complex R&D projects, apply distributed training and inference optimization techniques, collaborate across departments, stay current with ML developments, and mentor team members. The role combines cutting-edge research with production model serving and software engineering best practices.

Own frontend product features from ideation through launch and iteration. Build accessible React interfaces, make independent UX and UI decisions, run A/B tests, analyze Mixpanel data, conduct user interviews, and collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend engineers. Maintain robust UI tests and use customer feedback and analytics to improve product adoption and quality.

Build and operate scalable data pipelines, web scraping systems, and ML infrastructure for training, evaluating, and serving speech AI models. Responsibilities include improving GPU utilization, scheduling, observability, data quality, production reliability, and distributed-system troubleshooting. The role also contributes to MLOps practices and platform roadmap development.
