The Senior Research Engineer will create high-fidelity virtual environments, build simulation pipelines, and integrate various sensors for developing autonomy in drones and satellites.

Own customer projects to integrate, deploy, and validate SPAICE spatial AI on drones, satellites, and robotic platforms. Tasks include software and systems engineering, Linux and embedded configuration, networking and hardware integration, field testing, debugging across software/hardware, and direct collaboration with defence and aerospace customers.

Design, implement, and validate state estimation and control algorithms (Kalman filters, MPC, robust control) for satellites and drones; build multi-agent coordination architectures; implement and tune real-time, resource-constrained flight code; test in simulations, HIL/SIL, and flight hardware; collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver flight-ready GNC software.
