Lead SOCOTEC's Forensic Expert Witness team, manage construction dispute engagements, secure and deliver expert witness appointments, liaise with legal counsel, mentor staff, oversee workload and resources to deliver projects on time and within budget, and represent the firm at senior leadership and dispute resolution proceedings.

Perform Legionella risk assessments, audits of management and planned preventative monitoring regimes, and general water hygiene tasks (flushing, temperature checks, sampling). Produce client reports, communicate findings, use Word/Excel, and travel regionally to sites while passing required security/DBS checks.

Perform asbestos surveys, air sampling, fibre counting and four-stage clearance tests; maintain and calibrate equipment; produce accurate analytical reports; liaise with clients and teams to meet project deadlines and ensure H&S compliance.

Drive national business growth for SOCOTEC's asbestos services by prospecting clients, building relationships, leading tender submissions, producing quotations, and working with operations to convert and hand over contracts while meeting divisional sales targets.

Lead a regional Building Control office: perform site inspections, ensure compliance with Building Regulations and the Building Safety Act, supervise and develop inspectors, manage commercial performance, handle client enquiries, reporting, and support the Regional Director on budgets and resourcing.
