Lead health, safety, and environmental performance across UK and Ireland sites. Responsibilities include maintaining ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems, managing incidents and corrective actions, implementing safety programs, supporting audits, contractor safety, permit-to-work processes, emergency preparedness, HSE training, reporting, and continuous improvement across multiple locations.

Owns and supports the company’s global unified communications and telephony environment. Responsibilities include administering Microsoft Teams Phone, Direct Routing, SBCs, PBX systems, SIP trunking, contact centre technologies, call routing, carrier services, and cloud voice platforms. The role provides third-line support, troubleshoots voice quality and routing issues, manages technical suppliers, supports migrations, ensures security and compliance, and leads service reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.

Lead the people strategy for Smiths Detection’s global IT and Digital transformation. Partner with the CIO and senior technology leaders on workforce planning, organizational design, talent strategies, capability building, succession planning, change management, and organizational transitions. Support the creation of a standalone global IT function and growth of Digital teams across software, data, AI, and technology. Provide HR governance, leadership coaching, employee relations oversight, and workforce risk management across global operations.
