Lead and build Smarkets' security engineering and DevSecOps program for cloud-native trading systems, ensuring regulatory compliance (CFTC), secure SDLC adoption (SAST/DAST/SCA), infrastructure hardening (AWS/Azure/GCP, Kubernetes, IaC), incident response, monitoring, and security automation while engaging with executives, board, and regulators.

Lead end-to-end product design for Smarkets' trading products: define product direction, create simple elegant interfaces, prototype and test quickly, run user research, enhance the design system, and mentor others to raise design standards across mobile and web.

Support the finance team by processing AP invoices and payments, reconciling bank and supplier accounts, monitoring cash flow, producing regulatory reports, assisting with monthly management accounts, journal entries, and audits, and handling vendor and staff expense queries.
