Build and operate production-grade AI systems powered by LLMs, including intelligent agents, RAG pipelines, model orchestration, MCP integrations, vector search, and scalable backend infrastructure. Develop REST APIs, retrieval and knowledge layers, tool-use systems, monitoring, and deployable services using Python or TypeScript, Docker, cloud platforms, and CI/CD. Collaborate with product, engineering, data, and design teams while taking solutions from prototype through production.

Designs highways and infrastructure schemes through detailed design, feasibility studies, reports, costings, and bills of quantities. Ensures compliance with specifications, programs, health and safety regulations, CDM requirements, and environmental considerations. Manages clients, stakeholders, subcontractors, and third parties; coordinates multidisciplinary design activities; supports junior staff; and contributes to project management and budgeting. Requires consultancy experience with Section 278/38 processes, road design standards, negotiation, health and safety legislation, and Civil 3D.

Deliver hydraulic modelling and flood risk projects from inception through completion. Build and interrogate 1D and 2D models using Flood Modeller and TUFLOW, prepare technical reports and Flood Risk Assessments, conduct site visits, liaise with clients and regulators, and support project planning and quality assurance. The role also contributes to multidisciplinary water environment projects and develops the organization’s hydraulic modelling capability.
