Own the BAU IFRS9 process, produce and validate monthly outputs, develop and test model changes, maintain documentation and change logs, investigate model performance and movements, and support credit analysis and stakeholder queries. The role requires production-quality SAS and Python coding, credit risk reporting, impairment or capital modeling knowledge, and the ability to communicate analytical results to technical and non-technical audiences.

Build and operate Python-based tools, data pipelines, analytical models, dashboards, and AI/ML solutions for Finance. Partner with Finance users to automate reporting, reconciliations, controls, and workflows. Deploy solutions on Azure using secure, governed software engineering practices, CI/CD, monitoring, and documentation. Collaborate with Data Engineering, Technology, and Risk teams while coaching Finance colleagues on Python, automation, and data tooling.

Supports Shawbrook’s core applications and end-user systems, ensuring performance, reliability, security, and operational stability. Provides technical support across the bank and its subsidiaries, collaborates with technology, information security, and delivery teams, and helps improve efficiency and user experience. The role requires application or technical support experience in banking or financial services, knowledge of banking compliance, cloud experience with AWS or Azure, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
