Senior Director responsible for originating, structuring, underwriting, negotiating, and executing leveraged debt facilities for independent sponsor transactions. Owns senior sponsor and client relationships, evaluates business risk and equity certainty, prepares or supervises credit papers, leads deal teams through approval and completion, and supports portfolio, risk, legal, operations, and finance stakeholders. The role also develops junior colleagues and contributes to ThinCats’ origination, profitability, governance, and risk objectives.

Leads leveraged finance and financial sponsor lending activity, including transaction origination, structuring, execution, credit analysis, financial modeling, due diligence, negotiations, and risk management. Manages sponsor and intermediary relationships, prepares pitches and credit papers, presents to credit committees, supports legal completion, mentors junior staff, and ensures regulatory and compliance standards are maintained.

Prepares accurate regulatory returns for the PRA, FCA, Bank of England, and EBA, including COREP and FINREP. Reviews reporting data, supports automation and process improvements, enhances data quality, maintains documentation, and collaborates with Finance, Risk, Treasury, Technology, and other stakeholders to meet regulatory deadlines and evolving reporting requirements.
