Responsibilities include identifying and evaluating acquisitions, joint ventures, partnerships, and market-entry opportunities; managing due diligence, negotiations, and transaction execution; building financial models and investment cases; conducting market and competitor analysis; structuring commercial arrangements; and presenting recommendations to executives and investment committees.

Supports Rio Tinto’s Copper growth and investment agenda through financial modeling, valuation, commercial analysis, due diligence, business cases, scenario analysis, and portfolio evaluation. The role assesses acquisitions, partnerships, divestments, and organic growth opportunities, challenges financial and commercial assumptions, and prepares investment materials for senior leadership, investment committees, and board-level decisions.
