Teams at Proofpoint

Generates qualified sales opportunities for Proofpoint’s DACH enterprise sales team through inbound lead follow-up, outbound prospecting, email and cold-calling campaigns. Researches assigned accounts, gathers competitive and purchase-intent intelligence, qualifies leads, records interactions in Salesforce, and schedules product demonstrations. Collaborates with sales, account management, and marketing teams to execute account-based strategies. Requires fluent German and English, strong communication skills, organization, motivation, and attention to detail.

Manages EMEA BDR operations through business analytics, KPI reporting, process improvement, territory planning, technology ownership, and cross-functional partnership. Develops dashboards, audits performance data, supports business reviews, improves lead-to-opportunity workflows, standardizes global operating practices, and drives adoption of sales productivity tools and AI-enabled workflows.

Drive enterprise sales of Proofpoint’s digital communications governance and archiving solutions across EMEA. Responsibilities include prospecting, qualifying opportunities, conducting product demonstrations, managing complex sales cycles, coordinating sales engineers and internal resources, developing channel partnerships, forecasting, negotiating, and closing business with Fortune 1000 accounts. The role requires strong executive communication, enterprise field-sales expertise, CRM proficiency, and up to 30% travel within the assigned territory.
