Chief of Staff serving as the CEO’s strategic partner, driving the company agenda, aligning leadership priorities, coordinating cross-functional teams, and translating vision into execution. The role requires executive presence, stakeholder influence, adaptability, financial analysis, budget management, reporting, communication strategy, and operational planning in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Provide proactive executive support to Plum’s CEO and Founder by managing calendars, priorities, travel, communications, meetings, confidential matters, and administrative systems. The role requires strong judgment, autonomy, organization, discretion, and comfort with ambiguity in a fast-growing startup. The successful candidate will use AI and automation tools to improve efficiency and work from Plum’s London office at least three days per week.

Build and maintain scalable AI platform infrastructure, frameworks, libraries, and services supporting multiple engineering teams. Develop AI applications using LLMs, RAG, agentic architectures, prompt engineering, guardrails, and evaluation frameworks. Improve reliability, observability, monitoring, incident management, cost efficiency, developer experience, and safe deployment of AI-powered products while partnering with product and engineering teams.
