Reviews research proposals seeking access to health data, samples, and participants, applying scientific, clinical trial, ethical, and governance expertise. The role independently assesses proposals, amendments, annual reports, and access queries; supports efficient research access processes; identifies overlapping studies; develops guidance and training; and collaborates with researchers, governance bodies, and internal teams.

Analyze participant support and biosample operations data to identify trends, bottlenecks, discrepancies, quality issues, and root causes. Develop reporting, metrics, monitoring, forecasts, and capacity analyses, using SQL and exploratory analysis across multiple systems. Partner with technical and operational teams to improve data quality, communicate findings, and provide recommendations that strengthen operational efficiency and participant experience.

Build and operate scalable public-cloud platforms supporting participant websites, high-volume health and genetic data processing, de-identification, and secure sharing with Trusted Research Environments. Responsibilities include infrastructure as code, GitOps, CI/CD, Kubernetes, distributed systems, cloud security, ETL tooling, production support, troubleshooting, and defining engineering practices in a growing team.
