Teams at Octopus Investments

Drive sales of Octopus Investments products by developing relationships with financial advisers and private bank clients. Build regional pipelines, partner with external business development managers, conduct client meetings and presentations, and translate complex investment solutions into clear recommendations. The role requires strong sales ability, customer focus, communication skills, integrity, ambition, and self-motivation. Investment product knowledge is not required because training is provided.

Provide commercial legal advice and oversight for venture capital investments from term sheet through completion. Advise on follow-on investments, portfolio company matters, shareholder issues, secondary transactions, and exits. Manage external counsel, legal spend, stakeholders, and transaction execution while improving legal processes through standardization, automation, AI, and legal technology. Support fund structures, strategic legal initiatives, precedents, and internal guidance.

Retain assets under management and generate new business by developing relationships with financial advisers, managing executor cases, conducting outbound calls and product meetings, maintaining a sales pipeline, meeting KPIs, and delivering tailored customer experiences. The role requires strong communication, customer focus, market and product knowledge, and collaboration with regional sales teams.
