Leads people, capability, capacity, and resource planning for a robotics and autonomy engineering group. Responsibilities include line management, performance development, recruitment, retention, workload allocation, succession planning, and resolving resource constraints across projects. The manager partners with team leads and product teams to maintain delivery quality and team health while building a scalable engineering organization.

Lead technical direction and hands-on development for full-stack products across C#/.NET, Node/TypeScript, React, and PostgreSQL. Own architecture, delivery planning, code quality, backend design, and feature delivery while collaborating with Product, Design, and QA. Mentor engineers, facilitate Agile ceremonies, review code, document processes, and promote AI-assisted development and engineering best practices.

Design, build, and integrate production robotics software for uncrewed marine vessels. Develop ROS2 control, navigation, and motion-planning systems; integrate sensors, actuators, PLCs, and embedded controllers; support testing and field deployments; debug deployed systems; improve observability and CI/CD; and provide technical leadership through code reviews, mentoring, and architecture guidance.

Designs, operates, and evolves cloud-native platform systems, Kubernetes infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, internal tooling, and automation. Improves reliability, scalability, security, observability, and developer productivity across distributed systems and cloud environments. Troubleshoots networking, containers, and cloud services; supports engineering teams; contributes to architecture and platform standards.

Own product vision, strategy, and multi-horizon roadmaps across one or more products. Align executives, clients, design, engineering, and QA around priorities, delivery, quality, and compliance. Lead discovery, product analytics, stakeholder reviews, resource allocation, process improvement, and product communications while scaling Agile product teams and driving data-informed decisions.

Leads and develops a group of software engineers through line management, coaching, performance management, recruitment, retention, resource planning, project allocation, and succession planning. Partners with product teams and technical leads to balance engineering capacity, address capability gaps, and maintain team health and delivery quality. Requires technical credibility in software engineering without owning architecture or product priorities.
