Inspect, repair, and maintain more than 100 council playgrounds, ball courts, outdoor gyms, and related facilities across Nottingham. The role involves weekly site inspections, identifying and reporting safety risks, completing repairs such as carpentry, painting, and metalwork, and using power tools. The successful candidate will work outdoors, follow health and safety requirements, drive between city-wide sites, and help maintain public recreational facilities to a high standard.

Manage daily crematorium operations, ensuring respectful, legally compliant cremation and funeral services. Lead frontline staff, supervise contractors, maintain customer-care standards, and uphold environmental, health, and safety requirements through audits, inductions, and risk assessments. The role also supports commercial growth, service innovation, partnership development, and performance reporting across Bereavement Services.

Provides practical support in a council fleet workshop by safely moving HGVs and other vehicles, preparing vehicles for MOTs and service, washing and cleaning vehicles, performing basic checks, collecting parts, completing vehicle records, and maintaining safe, compliant workshop housekeeping standards.
