Provide flexible, casual operational cover for Nottingham markets and fairs: set up and dismantle stalls, move equipment, assist traders, maintain cleanliness and safety, carry out site inspections and general market duties across multiple sites with varying shifts.

Provide advice and support to households in emergency and temporary accommodation, facilitate Housing Benefit and Discretionary Housing Payment claims, assist transitions to private rented housing, and support income recovery efforts for the Temporary and Supported Accommodation Team.

Hands-on role caring for parkland, formal gardens and grounds. Perform horticulture, nature conservation, biodiversity promotion, and practical grounds maintenance. Operate vehicles and handheld mechanical equipment, work with colleagues and volunteers, and carry out duties independently including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Carry out refuse and recycling collections and general environmental maintenance across the city. Support winter operations (gritting, snow clearance), work flexibly across frontline neighbourhood services, represent the council professionally, and follow health and safety practices while working outdoors in all weather.

Provide housing advice and assistance to prevent homelessness, allocate and manage temporary and permanent accommodation, investigate homelessness duties under the Housing Act, advocate for households with complex needs, maintain partnership working, and ensure high-quality, customer-focused service delivery.

Provide clinical supervision to Emotional Mental Health Practitioners (EMHPs), hold a clinical caseload delivering low-intensity CBT, ensure safe effective care, support staff development, liaise with schools, CAMHS and partners, and contribute to service improvement and early intervention in school-based settings.
