Maintain and operate broadcast and AV systems across live parliamentary, government, sports, and event environments. Responsibilities include fault finding, camera and vision control, audio and video routing, equipment rigging, streaming and transcoding, media asset management, basic editing, client support, and small-scale project work. The role requires working effectively under pressure in rotating and unpredictable shifts, including weekends, with occasional travel.

Lead on-site delivery of live event audio-visual projects: interpret client requirements, create quotes and project plans, allocate equipment and crew, control costs and profitability, manage risks and safety, maintain client relationships and CRM, reconcile invoicing, and provide out-of-hours support and travel as required.

Own the design, configuration, validation, deployment, and live operation of vision systems for outside broadcast trucks and flypacks. Lead SMPTE ST 2110 and hybrid SDI/IP implementations, including PTP timing, multicast, redundancy, network switching, control systems, and system integration. Provide technical leadership during live broadcasts, troubleshoot faults under pressure, maintain engineering documentation, uphold standards, mentor engineers, and drive improvements in reliability and workflows.

Lead deployment, configuration, and live operation of vision and broadcast network systems across OB trucks, flypacks and remote production. Own camera, CCU, mixers, routers, multiviewers, SMPTE ST2110/IP workflows and multicast/PTP networks. Diagnose faults under pressure, support upgrades, mentor engineers, maintain standards, and contribute to technology strategy and documentation.

Lead AV systems integration projects from award to handover, managing scope, budget, schedule, contracts, documentation, risks, on-site delivery, commissioning and client sign-off while coordinating engineering, procurement, installation and service teams.
