Supports dioceses and churches in developing lay and ordained vocations, provides theological and spiritual guidance, and coordinates national discernment panels. Acts as Panel Secretary, supporting bishops, advisers, and candidates; prepares reports, leads worship, maintains records, and promotes consistent discernment standards. Depending on the role focus, responsibilities also include campaigns, courses, events, training, guidance, website content, and ministry data interpretation. Requires extensive collaboration, travel across England, and participation in Church of England worship and ministry.

Develops and executes social media strategies, campaigns, and platform-specific content for Church of England audiences. Responsibilities include content planning, copywriting, influencer partnerships, community management, monitoring, analytics, reporting, trend research, event coverage, and social media training. The role collaborates across communications teams to grow reach, engagement, and awareness while supporting faith-focused communications.

Represent survivors of faith-based abuse on the National Safeguarding Panel. Provide survivor-informed scrutiny, advocacy, and advice on safeguarding policy and practice; participate in fact-finding, written submissions, and discussions; collaborate with safeguarding professionals and faith representatives; and help develop a proactive, trauma-informed safeguarding culture. The role involves approximately six to eight meetings annually, preparation, induction, and a three-year renewable term.
