Lead Lucid’s AI compute verification research agenda, prioritize verification claims, and manage researchers across hardware security, cryptography, networking, and ML systems. Direct experiments and adversarial red-team cycles on the RISE H100 GPU testbed, establish rigorous success criteria, publish results including negative findings, translate policy and customer needs into testable claims, and represent the company through papers, talks, and academic partnerships.

Leads Lucid’s research partnerships and standards initiatives, beginning with the RISE collaboration. Builds relationships with universities, national labs, AI safety institutes, frontier AI developers, and standards bodies; manages agreements, delivery, publication, and specification adoption. Converts research results into reference architectures, technical specifications, and papers, while securing grant funding and building the function. Requires substantial technical-program or research-collaboration experience, standards-process expertise, technical fluency, and strong communication skills.

Supports company operations by managing executive calendars, scheduling, travel coordination, expenses, invoices, office needs, onboarding logistics, events, and special projects. The role requires discretion, strong writing, follow-through, comfort with ambiguity, and proficiency with modern workplace tools. It may grow into ownership of finance operations, recruiting, legal administration, or people operations.
