Lead technical discovery and define cloud-native architecture for commercial insurance underwriting and policy systems. Design and prototype AWS serverless solutions using Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and AWS CDK. Develop infrastructure as code, modernize integrations toward event-driven architectures, oversee production stability and observability, navigate architecture governance, review code, and coach offshore engineering teams.

Build and own Python-based curves, pricing, VaR, and risk platforms for oil, gas, and LNG commodities. Engineer dependency graphs, distributed scenario and P&L computation, and scalable numerical workloads using Ray and AWS. Improve performance, reliability, testing, observability, and CI/CD while partnering with quants, market-data engineers, and middle-office teams. The role requires end-to-end production ownership and strong understanding of commodities pricing, curves, P&L, and risk.

Lead development of production-grade real-time control software for advanced robotic systems. Design control architectures, implement deterministic control loops, industrialize research algorithms, and integrate software across embedded and Linux-based platforms. Establish testing, release, safety, reliability, and performance standards, including simulation, hardware-in-the-loop, regression, and profiling. Collaborate with hardware and safety teams on fail-safes and graceful degradation, while mentoring engineers and guiding the control software roadmap.
