Lead business operations for Kraken Pro by establishing operating rhythms, coordinating cross-functional initiatives, tracking KPIs, supporting executive decisions, managing reporting and roadmaps, triaging inbound requests, and improving operational efficiency. The role partners with product, engineering, compliance, legal, finance, and marketing teams to launch initiatives across trading and infrastructure products and enhance the product experience.

Provide legal and regulatory guidance on UK cryptoassets, e-money, payment services, AML/CTF, operational resilience, outsourcing, and related products. Support FCA engagement, licensing and registration workstreams, corporate transaction notifications, and regulatory correspondence. Translate complex frameworks into practical advice for business stakeholders while independently managing broad BAU regulatory matters. The role requires a UK-qualified lawyer with substantial financial services regulatory experience, including cryptoasset, payments, and regulator engagement expertise.

Lead and grow an 8–10-person engineering team responsible for core trading backend services, including matching engines, market data gateways, and order entry systems. Guide migration from legacy to modern systems, contribute to architecture and coding, prioritize performance and market data, adopt AI-assisted engineering practices, and partner with product and engineering teams to execute roadmaps.
