Leads the safe, compliant, and profitable operation of an energy-from-waste plant. Responsibilities include managing multidisciplinary departments, plant performance, budgets and P&L, regulatory and contractual compliance, HSEQ, risk management, root-cause investigations, continuous improvement, and stakeholder relationships. Requires engineering education, IOSH certification, energy-from-waste or power-generation experience, financial management capability, and strong leadership skills.

Provides administrative and project support for project teams, including booking travel and accommodation, managing documents and correspondence, preparing reports, coordinating meetings and workshops, supporting onboarding, maintaining processes and intranet content, and assisting with expenses and general office administration.

Supports day-to-day HR operations, including UK and Ireland payroll administration, employee and manager guidance, HR correspondence, employee record maintenance, compliance documentation, training and travel administration, and wider People & Culture initiatives. The role serves as an initial HR contact and requires knowledge of UK employment law, strong Microsoft Office skills, attention to detail, and effective communication.
