Leads regional clinical quality and performance for PIP services, managing Clinical Support Leads and supporting assessors through service delivery managers. Ensures compliance with DWP guidance, contractual performance targets, clinical governance, consistency, and customer experience. Responsibilities include identifying capability and staffing needs, sharing best practices, reporting site performance and risks, leading change and innovation, and mentoring teams. Regular visits to regional sites and virtual team engagement are required.

Conduct face-to-face, video and telephone functional assessments to evaluate claimants' ability to perform daily living activities. Gather clinical information using focused questioning and active listening, produce structured reports for DWP submission, and collaborate with clinical colleagues to ensure consistent, fair assessments.

Designs, delivers and evaluates clinical learning (classroom, virtual, blended) for new entrants and CPD, applying adult-learning and inclusive practices. Translates complex clinical and policy information into accessible training, coaches learners and colleagues, maintains learning records, and uses feedback and outcome data to drive continuous improvement.
