Teams at Hypersonica

Perform aerospace structural loads analysis for flight and ground phases, including launch, ascent, staging, re-entry, and landing. Build coupled loads and finite element models, conduct structural dynamics and vibration analyses, oversee modal and shock testing, and validate simulations against telemetry. The role requires aerospace or mechanical engineering expertise, strong knowledge of structural dynamics and aeroelasticity, and proficiency with OptiStruct and HyperMesh.

Build and lead Hypersonica’s UK legal function, advising founders and senior leaders on commercial contracts, government and defence programmes, intellectual property, export controls, sanctions, national security, corporate governance, employment matters, compliance, and strategic transactions. The role requires practical, commercially minded risk advice, development of legal processes and templates, management of external counsel, and eventual team building.

Interns will work on real hypersonic aerospace hardware and programs alongside experienced engineers and operators. Depending on their background, responsibilities may involve propulsion, aerodynamics, structures, materials, avionics, guidance and navigation control, software, electronics, manufacturing, testing, quality, simulation, data, or operations. The role emphasizes independent problem-solving, rapid learning, first-principles thinking, building and testing, clear communication, and working onsite with hardware-focused teams.
