Perform electrical assembly, integration, and test (AIT) for hypersonic vehicles: develop wiring and integration procedures from schematics/CAD, define integration sequences, prepare tools/test equipment, support avionics and sensor installation, set up DAQ/test systems, perform integration testing and fault‑finding, and maintain build documentation with traceability.

Lead and build Hypersonica's UK quality function and QMS from zero to AS9100 certification. Translate reliability insights into design recommendations across avionics, GNC, hardware and software, drive design-for-reliability, and establish RAMS practices for mission-critical hypersonic systems throughout development, test, and operations.

Provide hands-on commercial and compliance legal support for a defence technology startup: draft, review, and negotiate contracts; advise on IP; build contracting standards and compliance processes; manage export control, sanctions, and government-facing legal work; coordinate external counsel; embed legal function into the business to enable rapid, compliant growth.

Support the Head of People to run fast, compliant UK people operations: onboarding, employee records (HiBob/SF), probation and performance processes, policy maintenance, reporting, cross-functional coordination, and continuous process improvement in a high-performance defence startup.

Define and own the end-to-end manufacturing process for rocket motors, design efficient production flow and layout, ensure safety and regulatory compliance (COSHH, ITAR, COMAH), apply PFMEA/Control Plans/PPAP, run hands-on trials and troubleshooting on the shop floor, and partner with propulsion, quality and safety teams to scale production and continuously improve processes.
