Join Howden’s Surety team in a permanent graduate role supporting the placement of surety bonds for major commercial projects. Responsibilities include reviewing contracts and financial records, assessing risk, preparing client materials, supporting meetings, and building relationships with clients, underwriters, and internal stakeholders. The 18-month programme develops technical, commercial, negotiation, and relationship-management skills. No insurance experience is required, but applicants must be recent or final-year Law or Finance students with unrestricted UK work rights.

Supports UK&I Retail and central functions in embedding the Enterprise Risk Management Framework. Provides risk advice, monitors risk appetite and metrics, leads assessments, strengthens controls, manages reporting, conducts stress and scenario testing, identifies emerging risks, delivers training, and supports projects and change initiatives.

Provides comprehensive administrative support to a team, including complex diary and meeting coordination, local and international travel arrangements, event organization, documentation, invoice and expense processing, records management, filing, archiving, and stakeholder liaison. The role requires discretion, strong organization, attention to detail, effective communication, Microsoft Office proficiency, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy office environment. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract.
