Teams at Humanoid

Leads Humanoid’s applied AI research and engineering function for physical robotics. Sets the technical roadmap, directs Transformer and multimodal model development, defines data and evaluation strategies, and validates models on real robots. The role combines hands-on research with team building, architecture decisions, experiment design, deployment, failure analysis, safety planning, and communication with customers, partners, and investors.

Design and iterate robotic end effectors and wearable operator devices from concept through production handoff. Integrate sensors, cameras, PCBAs, and other electromechanical components; select materials and manufacturing processes; prototype rapidly; and apply DFM/DFA principles. The role includes customer collaboration, requirements development, mechanical validation, structural and durability testing, and coordination with electrical, firmware, prototyping, and manufacturing teams.

Own and operate Humanoid’s cloud data platform, including infrastructure, software services, data workflows, CI/CD, monitoring, security, reliability, and recovery. Translate internal engineering needs into technical work, lead external contractors, review deliverables, and ensure implementations are tested, documented, and production-ready. The role combines hands-on platform, cloud, full-stack, and data engineering with technical delivery leadership.
