Develop and deliver scalable cloud-first software solutions within agile squads. Responsibilities include writing and reviewing maintainable C# and .NET code, designing solutions and databases, creating unit tests, supporting CI/CD, contributing to architecture, championing security standards, mentoring engineers, maintaining documentation, and adopting AI-assisted development tools. The role collaborates with stakeholders and distributed teams across multiple countries while transforming on-premises and cloud systems.

Provides senior legal advice to Technology, Operations, Procurement, Data, AI, and Transformation teams. Leads complex commercial contracting involving SaaS, cloud, outsourcing, procurement, licensing, data, and strategic suppliers. Advises on AI, digital transformation, operational resilience, third-party risk, and technology governance across jurisdictions. Partners with senior stakeholders, manages external counsel, mentors colleagues, and drives legal operations improvement through technology, templates, playbooks, and scalable delivery models.

Serves as Hiscox’s lead employment lawyer, advising the Group General Counsel, HR, senior leaders, Risk, Compliance, and local legal teams on employment law, workforce change, investigations, disputes, executive matters, policies, and cross-border people risks. The role manages complex employment matters, external counsel, litigation strategy, regulatory alignment, legal process improvement, and stakeholder training while providing pragmatic, commercially focused advice across a regulated international business.

Manage claims portfolios across lead, follow, and delegated insurance books within Hiscox Portfolio Solutions. Oversee claims processing structures, analyze claims data and trends, coordinate with underwriting and reserving teams, and engage internal and external claims handlers. Serve as the primary claims contact for the division, ensuring effective oversight, technical claims handling, business planning, delegated arrangements, and continuous improvement across London Market operations.

Conduct audits of claims files against regulatory and internal standards, identify trends, prepare MI and analytic reports, recommend corrective actions, support training and remediation, engage stakeholders, and maintain knowledge of London Market products, policies, systems and regulatory environment.

Lead platform security for London Market, embedding secure-by-design across squads. Design, automate, and operate security controls in cloud and on-prem platforms, drive AppSec and vulnerability management, influence architecture, support incident response, and mentor chapter members to raise DevOps and security maturity.

Prepare and present Group consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual financial, statutory and regulatory reports in compliance with IFRS and Solvency II. Maintain and enhance consolidation controls, automate and improve reporting processes, support finance and group-wide projects, and manage stakeholder and auditor relationships while promoting continuous improvement.

Lead analytics for Hiscox UK Schemes and MGA portfolio, managing a small analyst team. Build models, produce reporting and visualisations, review new deals, steer portfolio performance, shape strategy, and work with underwriting, pricing and data teams to drive profitable growth and governance.

Serve as US Compensation & Benefits subject matter expert within the global Reward team. Design, implement and govern US pay and benefits programs, lead annual salary and incentive processes, ensure regulatory compliance (ACA, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA), use benchmarking and analytics to inform decisions, manage vendors and projects, and partner with HR, Finance, Legal and business leaders to enhance employee value and retention.
