Teams at High Speed Two (HS2) Ltd

Leads complex commercial agreements and stakeholder relationships with external third parties for HS2 infrastructure programmes. Responsibilities include developing commercial strategies, negotiating and administering contracts, managing risks and disputes, assuring agreement performance, supporting governance, and embedding contract management plans. The role also provides commercial expertise, represents HS2 with strategic stakeholders, and leads team members while ensuring value for money, compliance, and delivery to cost and schedule.

Lead HS2 Command, Control and Signalling contracts from design through installation, testing, and commissioning. Manage contractors, integrated teams, schedules, budgets, risks, interfaces, and quality under NEC3 conditions. The role requires experience delivering high-value, complex railway signalling projects, managing multidisciplinary and matrixed teams, and coordinating external suppliers across the project lifecycle.

Supports commercial management across infrastructure contracts, including works information, contract documentation, procurement planning, NEC3 administration, variations, compensation events, payments, supplier reporting, performance information, disputes, and estimate reviews. Works with delivery teams, contractors, and the supply chain while promoting commercial control, risk management, and organizational policies.
