The role involves designing and building backend services, UI components, and integrations, while maintaining solid infrastructure practices and contributing to team collaboration.

Lead assessment and redesign of backend architecture to improve reliability, scalability, multi-tenancy, and security. Design core abstractions and pipelines with platform/infrastructure teams, set technical direction for scaling to thousands of customers and tens of millions of documents, raise engineering standards, and ship production-grade systems while remaining hands-on.

Own a product vertical end-to-end: run discovery, write specs, prioritize backlog, ship and iterate with engineering. Build customer relationships, set product strategy, measure impact, and collaborate across teams to deliver AI-driven document workflow features for financial services customers.
