Teams at Helsing

Own end-to-end systems engineering across the full V-cycle, including requirements, architecture, design, integration, verification, validation, and release. Plan system-level testing, analyze test data, lead root-cause investigations, and drive design iterations. Collaborate with software, hardware, and AI engineers to maintain system alignment, produce technical documentation and traceability evidence, and engage directly with defense customers during technical reviews and demonstrations.

Supports Helsing’s chief operating officer and leadership team by managing complex diaries, correspondence, meetings, travel, expenses, events, and information flow. The role requires discretion when working with senior officials, government stakeholders, suppliers, and external partners. It also involves preparing agendas and briefing materials, coordinating logistics across time zones, and prioritizing competing requests in a fast-moving defense technology environment.

Develop reliable, mission-critical software and AI capabilities for semi-autonomous platforms operating in complex, changing environments. Engineers solve challenging problems with code, contribute to systems design, collaborate through code reviews and pair programming, and communicate architectural decisions clearly. The role involves technical interviews covering systems design, project deep dives, and live coding. Work may span distributed systems, AI, deployment infrastructure, robotics, and edge applications, with strong emphasis on ethical engineering, independent reasoning, reliability, and safety.
