Develop, train, and deploy reinforcement-learning controllers for autonomous robots operating in complex real-world environments. Own the pipeline from physics-based simulation through hardware deployment, combining learned policies with classical control, perception, sensor fusion, and sim-to-real techniques. Build robust, efficient software for constrained robotic systems, validate performance on physical hardware, and communicate research findings while extending state-of-the-art robotics and machine-learning research.

The Software Engineer will develop AI-based capabilities, maintain software stacks, mentor others, and tackle engineering challenges across various technical fields.

Develop system architecture, requirements, interfaces, verification strategies, certification evidence, and safety cases for a jet-powered interceptor weapon system. The role translates stakeholder needs and threat information into traceable requirements, conducts trade studies and MBSE architecture development, coordinates safety and certification activities, and addresses maintainability, testability, training, software upgradeability, and system growth.
