Design and oversee secure, scalable AWS architectures supporting genomic research data platforms. Translate complex user and research needs into practical technical designs, roadmaps, and reusable architecture patterns. Collaborate with engineering, product, data, science, security, and delivery teams across application, infrastructure, data, integration, and security domains. Provide architectural governance, document decisions, manage risks, evaluate emerging technologies, and ensure solutions meet privacy, regulatory, interoperability, and operational requirements.

Lead the architecture, design, governance and delivery of secure, resilient network solutions across AWS, on-premises infrastructure, corporate locations and partner environments. Define cloud, hybrid, remote-access and connectivity standards; design highly available networks supporting sensitive genomic data; guide migrations and roadmaps; and collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, security, engineering and delivery teams. Document architectures, manage risks, improve observability and resilience, and provide technical governance throughout the service lifecycle.

Designs, maintains, and executes Java-based UI, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end automated tests using Selenium and RestAssured. Collaborates with Agile delivery teams to improve test coverage, shift-left quality, CI/CD testing, traceability, defect management, and test documentation. The role also supports test data management, SQL validation, manual testing, non-functional testing, and continuous improvement across the software development lifecycle.
