The Science News Editor will research, write, commission, and edit accessible content about complex biomedical discoveries. Responsibilities include overseeing the writing team, managing news and features webpages, editing The Crick magazine, shaping social content, collaborating with scientists and creative professionals, and developing strategic media coverage to raise the institute’s profile. The role requires strong scientific understanding, editorial judgment, media awareness, and the ability to tailor content for public, scientific, policymaker, donor, industry, and media audiences.

Manage and improve identity and access management services across on-premises, virtualized, and cloud environments. Lead IAM projects, Okta integrations, Microsoft 365 administration, DSAR technical execution, infrastructure security improvements, system monitoring, incident and change management, scripting, and operational support. Collaborate with security, compliance, legal, and technical teams while maintaining Windows Server, Linux, network, web, database, and cloud infrastructure services.
