Teams at Flow Traders

Lead and manage a Research Engineering team responsible for delivering applied research and trading platform features. Own roadmap, hiring, career development, performance management, cross-functional coordination with Trading and Quant teams, and delivery predictability while improving processes and team culture.

Provide first-line remote and on-site IT support across Windows environments and office infrastructure. Troubleshoot hardware, OS, applications, AV, printers, and datacenter equipment; manage workstation setup, onboarding/offboarding, asset lifecycle, meeting-room systems, and trading-floor continuity. Monitor systems and escalate issues, maintain documentation and knowledge base, and collaborate with senior teams on network, server, cloud, and infrastructure tasks.

Lead development and global rollout of core C++ trading platform components. Implement exchange connectivity (FIX, WebSocket, HTTP), optimize for ultra-low latency (kernel bypass, TLS), build trading algorithms, improve reliability and observability, and collaborate closely with quants and traders to deploy production systems.
