Build and evolve Figma’s AI-powered Dev Mode, MCP tools, Make, and agentic coding products. Lead generative AI efforts from ideation through production, develop user-facing LLM features, create evaluation sets and LLM judges, and collaborate with product, design, data, and research teams. The role also involves cross-functional product development, mentoring, and delivering high-quality, user-focused engineering solutions.

Design and prototype workflows connecting design, production code, and AI-powered developer tools. Partner with product managers, engineers, researchers, data scientists, and UX writers to shape product direction, conduct user-centered design, and deliver high-quality features. Create flows, prototypes, and visual designs; contribute to design critiques, mentoring, and design-system practices. The role focuses on technically complex products, developer workflows, APIs, and emerging AI interactions.

Software engineering interns join collaborative teams to build, test, document, and ship user-facing features, developer tools, infrastructure, or security systems. Interns work with mentors, engineers, product managers, designers, and QA; participate in planning and code reviews; and contribute to projects such as collaboration tools, distributed systems, performance improvements, or security tooling.
