Lead 2-3 greenfield battery storage (BESS) development projects through development and pre-construction. Own programmes, budgets, risk registers, and PM tools; manage planning and consenting, consultants, land agreements, design and site investigations; engage stakeholders and network operators; support construction handover and discharge pre-commencement conditions.

Prepare management accounts, month-end journals, balance sheet reconciliations, VAT returns and GL reconciliations. Improve and automate finance processes, embed AI models in workflows, support audits, analyse revenue and cost trends, and partner with commercial teams on PO management and reporting.

Lead end-to-end procurement and commercial execution for UK battery energy storage Balance of Plant and grid connection packages. Responsibilities include tender preparation, bid evaluation, cost modeling, direct NEC and FIDIC contract negotiation, contractor network development, interface risk management, market intelligence, and CapEx benchmarking. The role also requires coordination with engineering teams, BESS OEMs, contractors, grid operators, and regulatory stakeholders across UK renewable energy projects.
