Supports pension payroll and taxation operations, including periodic payroll processing, payment validation, PAYE and RTI submissions, tax remittances, reconciliations, escalated payroll queries, audits, regulatory compliance, operational controls, and process improvement. The role also allocates work, supports team recruitment and training, manages stakeholder relationships, and deputises for the Payroll Operations Manager.

Partners with business leaders on employee relations, workforce planning, talent, reward, engagement, and organisational change. Supports EQ Retirement Solutions’ separation programme, including organisational design, TUPE consultations, employee transitions, and restructuring. Advises on complex HR cases, coaches managers, analyses workforce data, presents people metrics, and ensures compliance with UK employment legislation and company policies.

Provide buy-in and buy-out administration for Bulk Purchase Annuity clients, handle member transactions, resolve and escalate enquiries, perform and check pension calculations, produce reports, draft non-standard correspondence, and support projects while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and high-quality, timely delivery.
