Support residents in emergency and temporary accommodation by facilitating Housing Benefit and Discretionary Housing Payment claims, advocating and negotiating on behalf of citizens, supporting income recovery, and working with the Temporary and Supported Accommodation Team to identify and resolve housing-related issues.

Provide administrative and practical support to the Nottingham Private Rented Assistance Scheme, assisting households threatened with homelessness from the private rented sector. Help clients access and sustain suitable accommodation, ensure Housing Benefit and Discretionary Housing Payment claims are submitted and processed, monitor performance data, and advocate and negotiate on behalf of citizens to deliver a high-quality, customer-focused service.

Provide hands-on care and maintenance of parkland, formal gardens and grounds. Perform horticulture, nature conservation and biodiversity tasks, operate vehicles and handheld machinery, support volunteers, and work independently across weekends, evenings and holidays.
