Support residents in emergency and temporary accommodation by facilitating Housing Benefit and Discretionary Housing Payment claims, advocating and negotiating on behalf of citizens, supporting income recovery, and working with the Temporary and Supported Accommodation Team to identify and resolve housing-related issues.

Provide administrative and practical support to the Nottingham Private Rented Assistance Scheme, assisting households threatened with homelessness from the private rented sector. Help clients access and sustain suitable accommodation, ensure Housing Benefit and Discretionary Housing Payment claims are submitted and processed, monitor performance data, and advocate and negotiate on behalf of citizens to deliver a high-quality, customer-focused service.

Provide hands-on care and maintenance of parkland, formal gardens and grounds. Perform horticulture, nature conservation and biodiversity tasks, operate vehicles and handheld machinery, support volunteers, and work independently across weekends, evenings and holidays.

Perform refuse and recycling collection, grounds maintenance, and environmental cleansing across Nottingham. Support winter operations (gritting, snow clearance), work flexibly across frontline neighbourhood services, and represent the council with professionalism while following health and safety practices.

Provide LI-CBT clinical supervision and case management to EMHPs, hold a clinical caseload delivering evidence-based interventions, liaise with schools, CAMHS and partners, and support service development, quality and staff CPD within a school-based early intervention MHST.

Provide flexible, as-required operational support for Nottingham markets and events: set up and dismantle stalls, move equipment, assist traders and visitors, perform site inspections, maintain cleanliness, and follow health and safety procedures across multiple market sites.

Manage allocation and administration of temporary and supported accommodation, provide housing advice and homelessness prevention, assist with Housing Act 1996 Part VII enquiries, advocate for households with complex needs, work in partnership with agencies, and deliver customer-focused casework to secure accommodation outcomes.

Lead and coordinate contract administration, governance, and compliance for Highways, Public Realm and Tree Services. Maintain contract and supplier records, support commissioning, tendering, mobilisation and variations, produce compliance and performance reports, and work with managers and corporate teams to ensure value for money and adherence to local authority procurement policies and legislation.
