Management Accountant responsible for fixed asset and leasing accounting, monthly management accounts, journals, variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow forecasts, budgeting, forecasting, group reporting, audit support, and process improvement. The role also involves identifying unused revenue-generating assets, preparing ad hoc reports, and mentoring finance team members within a fast-paced logistics operation.

Plan and allocate vehicles and drivers to maximise utilisation and profitability; manage driver attendance and queries; route optimisation, data analysis, and KPI monitoring; coordinate loading, POD management, customer liaison, and daily transport administration to ensure timely deliveries and continuous improvement.

Dispatches and monitors drivers and subcontractors, tracks deliveries, manages driver paperwork and proof of delivery, communicates delays, debriefs drivers, supports breakdowns and defect procedures, maintains system notifications, prepares DOT and KPI reports, checks timesheets, and downloads tachograph cards. Ensures transport activities comply with legal, customer, and company procedures.
