Plan and allocate vehicles and drivers to maximise utilisation and profitability, manage driver relations and queries, route and validate deliveries, coordinate loading, analyse operational data and KPIs, maintain operational systems and records, and resolve customer issues to meet service levels.

Lead identification and delivery of operational improvement projects across warehouse and transport functions. Perform complex analysis, produce change plans, quantify savings with Finance, coach operational teams, liaise with stakeholders and share best practice to improve quality, cost, service and safety.

Assess and maintain site Health & Safety and Food Safety (BRCGS) compliance. Maintain training records, develop and audit Site Safety Management Plan, coordinate safety and food-safety training, support incident investigations, complete site inspections, and keep safety communications and documentation current.

Manage 24/7 transport operations to meet service levels and budgets. Supervise and develop the transport team, control fleet availability and maintenance costs, liaise with hauliers and suppliers, ensure compliance through audits, attend customer reviews, and drive continuous service improvements.
