Leads the global Payments and FX product strategy, roadmap, transformation, and commercialisation. Translates client and sales needs into scalable propositions, supports stablecoin-enabled solutions, and drives AI adoption across Sales, Trading, Treasury, and the broader front office. Partners with cross-functional stakeholders to improve revenue, client acquisition, product adoption, productivity, and market competitiveness within a regulated banking environment.

Supports credit and country risk management across lending, payments, FX, trade finance, and emerging-market activities. Responsibilities include preparing credit applications, monitoring counterparty exposures and limits, assessing country risk, maintaining portfolio controls, producing reporting, and improving risk processes through data, systems, and automation. The role also contributes to governance, regulatory and audit requests, policy enhancements, and cross-functional risk initiatives.

Lead network management across Anglophone Africa by expanding and onboarding correspondent banks and financial institution partners. Analyze payment corridors, currencies, clearing systems, and market capabilities; manage due diligence, credit applications, contracts, reviews, and partner relationships. Enable local and cross-border payment infrastructure while coordinating with Risk, Compliance, Financial Crime, Sales, Trading, Payments Operations, and Treasury. Monitor regulatory and geopolitical risks, prepare country assessments and management reporting, and support governance and strategic initiatives.
