Owns month-end close, financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, VAT returns, journal preparation, variance analysis, and audit support. The role maintains accurate, audit-ready financial records, strengthens finance controls, improves processes, responds to reporting queries, and supports junior colleagues. It also contributes to management accounts, departmental cost analysis, and technical accounting activities including IFRS 9 revenue and expected credit loss calculations.

Provide regulatory and compliance advice to the business, translate FCA requirements into policies, support product governance and Design, deliver compliance monitoring, monitor conduct MI, run training, and support delivery of good customer outcomes under Consumer Duty.

Build, deploy, monitor and recalibrate credit risk machine learning models; perform data extraction, wrangling and feature engineering; detect data/model drift; improve decision explainability; optimise data pipelines and partner with product, engineering and operations to implement lending, acquisition and affordability strategies.

Design and produce high-performing paid social and YouTube creative (static, video, carousel, UGC-style) with a direct-response mindset. Lead testing plans, iterate from performance data, work within FCA compliance, scale production with modular systems and AI tools, and partner with Growth, Product, Brand, Compliance and Analytics to drive acquisition and conversion.
