As a Deployed Customer Engineer, you will bridge Couchbase's engineering and customer goals, implementing solutions and optimizing performance for mission-critical applications.

Serve as a strategic commercial partner supporting enterprise deal reviews, pricing, quote creation and contract negotiations. Provide pricing and TCO modelling, competitive price comparisons, and guidance on subscription and consumption commercial models. Collaborate cross-functionally (sales, legal, finance) to ensure deal compliance, optimal structure, and alignment with financial targets while communicating complex commercial outcomes to stakeholders and executives.

Lead Couchbase's UK & Nordics go-to-market as a player-coach, driving new logo acquisition and ARR expansion. Build and execute regional strategy, maintain pipeline hygiene and forecasting, position AI/data platform (RAG, Vector Search, Capella) to displace legacy RDBMS, develop sales talent, and coordinate cross-functional account teams to achieve quota.
